In the past few years, we’ve seen plenty of mind-bending, interactive exhibits open in and around the Strip. From iLLUMINARIUM at AREA 15 to PARADOX MUSEUM and DISNEY ANIMATION IMMERSIVE at ARIA, each is exciting and worth a visit. But this writer will stick his neck out to say they all pale next to PARTICLE INK.

A Particle Ink designer told me that SPEED OF DARK was originally set to open in New York City more than four years ago. Then the shutdown took place and everything was stored away, waiting for the right time and place. NYC’s loss was Sin City’s gain, and the attraction received acclaim, along with numerous extensions. That’s a notable achievement, especially for something this unique and artistic.
PARTICLE INK can now be experienced two ways…in its original form, and as a self-guided journey of discovery. Ms. Tuft explained that every moving panel of art and every display has its own story, things that could have been easily missed if focusing strictly on the actors. Here’s the official explanation:
