LAS VEGAS (April 26, 2023) – Proper Eats Food Hall at ARIA Resort & Casino will transform into a festive Cinco de Mayo celebration highlighted by a one-day-only taco pop-up presented by Milpa Mexican Restaurant, owned by beloved local chef DJ Flores. The party will be held from 11 a.m. until close on Friday, May 5, and will feature cocktails made with Casamigos tequila, a live mariachi band and a DJ playing Latin hits.
Milpa, known for its house-made corn tortillas and fresh Mexican cuisine, will feature three specialty tacos: birria queso tacos served with a side of consommé; adobo chicken tacos made topped with cabbage, pickled onions, cilantro and salsa verde; and skirt steak asada tacos topped with cilantro, avocado and salsa macha.
Casamigos will present a menu of specialty cocktails to honor the holiday, including the “Perfect Margarita,” “Pomegranate Cosmo” and “Mexpresso Martini,” made with Casamigos and Cointreau.
Located on the promenade level, Proper Eats will host the Cinco de Mayo celebration at Proper Bar, a craft cocktail lounge and popular social hub overlooking the ARIA pool. A live Mariachi band will get the party started from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. and later, a guest DJ will take over to play Latin top 50s hits to keep the party going for the remainder of the night. Also starting at 5 p.m., Casamigos will offer samplings and a step and repeat for guests to strike their favorite tequila-loving pose.
