Kevin Sucher is a dreamer. As creator of THE DOCKSIDERS, the singer/songwriter/producer was determined for his hit “yacht rock” crew to conquer Las Vegas. That vision included a Strip residency, but not just at any casino hotel. His longtime dream was to have THE DOCKSIDERS drop anchor at Venetian Resort Las Vegas.
At the same time, fellow dreamer Noel Bowman wanted to broaden the concept of his 1923 Prohibition Bar. A classy, intimate speakeasy inside Shops at Mandalay Place, 1923 Prohibition Bar had proven itself successful enough to follow the path of his MINUS 5 Ice Bar collective. In other words…more locations.
Bowman found the perfect spot to build another ‘1923‘. This one would not only feature live entertainment, but enough space to host private events. With things moving rapidly, the entrepreneur was soon scouting for talent. That led him to a downtown concert by THE DOCKSIDERS in February.
