It started in 1999 when lovebirds Jackie and Doug Miranda first took to a California dance floor. Their passion for line dancing exploded into a project that grew larger with each consecutive iteration. Twenty-five years later, VEGAS DANCE EXPLOSION will fill Westgate Las Vegas meeting spaces all this week. The party reaches a fever pitch on Saturday night with a Silver Anniversary Celebration Show.

Participants from forty-eight states and over thirty countries have descended on Sin City for VEGAS DANCE EXPLOSION. Attendance was capped out at two thousand people this year. The event will fill multiple ballrooms throughout Westgate’s event center. Temporary wooden dance floors have been laid and indoor bleachers were erected to view the many competitions and shows.
VEGAS 411 stopped by Westgate Resort on Tuesday, November 12, as attendees arrived and the first few sessions began. Hundreds of additional participants will flood into the historic resort, which has hosted VDE since the Riviera Hotel closed in 2015.
